Row 1 (Right Side): K1, * yo, K2, sl 1 K, K2tog, pass the slipped st over the K2tog, K2, yo, K1; rep from * across.
Row 2: P.
Rep Rows 1 and 2 for pat for 4" end Row 1. Change to smaller needles and K 1 row dec 2 sts evenly spaced ΓÇö 87 (95, 103) sts. Work even in St st, beg K row, until 9 (9┬╜, 10)" from beg, end P row.
Shape Armholes: Bind off 8 (9, 10) sts at beg of next 2 rows ΓÇö 71 (77, 83) sts. **
Work even until 8┬╝ (8┬╛, 9┬╝)" above armhole bind-off, end P row.
Divide for Neck: K16 (19, 22), turn and put rem sts on a holder. P 1 row. Dec 1 st at neck edge on next row. P 1 row. Bind off rem 15 (18, 21) sts.
With right side facing, leave center 39 sts on a holder, join yarn to rem 16 (19, 22) sts and K to end. P 1 row. Dec 1 st at neck edge on next row. P 1 row. Bind off rem 15 (18, 21) sts.
FRONT: Work same as back from ** to **. Work even until 7 (7┬╜, 8)" above armhole bind-off, end P row.
Divide for Neck: K21 (24, 27), turn and put rem sts on a holder. P 1 row. Dec 1 st at neck edge every row until 15 (18, 21) sts rem. Work a few rows even until front measures same as back to shoulder, end P row. Bind off.
With right side facing, leave center 29 sts on a holder, join yarn to rem 21 (24, 27) sts and K to end. P 1 row. Complete to correspond to first side.
SLEEVES: With smaller needles cast on 41 sts. Work in lace pat same as for back for 3", end Row 1.
Next Row: K2 (4, 1), M1, * K4 (3, 3), M1; rep from * to last 3 (4, 1) sts; K3 (4, 1) ΓÇö 51 (53, 55) sts.
Work in St st, beg K row, shaping sides by inc 1 st each end of 5th row, then every 4th row until there are 65 (67, 69) sts, then every 6th row until there are 81 (85, 89) sts. Work even until 17┬╜ (18┬╜, 19)" from beg. Mark each end of last row. Work even for 1┬╛ (2, 2┬╝)", end P row. Bind off.
FINISHING-Neckband: Sew right shoulder seam. With right side facing and smaller needle, pick up and K10 sts down left front neck edge, K across 29 sts on front holder, pick up 10 sts up right neck edge, 2 sts down right back neck edge, K across 39 sts on back holder dec 2 sts evenly, pick up 2 sts up left back neck edge ΓÇö 90 sts. K 3 rows. Bind off.
Sew rem shoulder and neckband seam. Place center of sleeve tops at shoulder seams and sew in place, sewing rows above markers to underarm bind-off. Sew side and sleeve seams.
TIP: The increases and decreases of the lace pattern form the scalloped edge; the stitch count remains the same across each row.
TIP: The edges of Stockinette stitch fabric will roll until seamed; there is no need to block the fabric to flatten it.
TIP: Always store garments flat or folded, not on a hanger.
TIP: When pattern instructions read to "work until 9" from beg", that measurement includes any border or ribbing.
